The Big Game is over, well, the season is over and so is our 7th annual Super Easy, Super Bowl Contest. The contest consisted of selecting four prop bets and the winner and correct score of the Super Bowl. As a tie-breaker players had to choose the number of first downs for the Super Bowl Winner. This year’s contest was a rousing success with over 100 participants vying for the cash prize and was just the second year that the winner had to be determined by the tie-breaker.

Merge to Begin Taking New US Sign Ups

The Merge Network will begin taking new player signups from the United States, beginning October 13th at 1:00 AM Eastern Time, according to a report. Players from New York, Kentucky, Washington state, Louisiana, Missouri, and Washington DC will continue to be blocked from creating new accounts. Although the Merge Network is allowing licensees to take new US signups, it is unknown how many skins will do so. CarbonPoker and PDCpoker are certainly expected to. Swedish player Nils Jarefjäll has won the EMOP Prague, after overcoming a field of 231 players over four days to lift the title, and collect the €52,277 top prize.

As the €1,100 Main Event at the Card Casino in Prague reached its final table, Nils Jarefjäll was in pole position with 1.195m in chips, followed by Irelands Kevin Spillane (809k), and Roman Ondrusek (628k) from the Czech Republic.
